Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. In Australia her name was made well-known for the character Pepper Steiger that she played in the soap opera Neighbors for a period of 100 episodes from 2006 to 2007. In Hollywood the actress began her career with two different projects. First was Hollywood & Wine with which she played a young hopeful actress. Then by landing a recurring character in the ninth season of Scrubs that of Maya a very sexy medical student. However the series is suddenly ended. Then, she begins making films for a Farrelly brother-based comedy Good to shoot featuring the Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson tandem. This will be followed by appearances on series movies and B series. In 2013, she was able to get more exposure for projects. She appeared for six seasons of the show detective Franklin and Bash then landed her first regular role in the web-based series Chosen carried by Milo Ventimiglia. The first two seasons, she played Chad Michael Murray and also plays the role of the responder. Following that, she was able to reprise her supporting roles in two fantastic film features set in aircrafts: one was a television film produced for the SyFy Channel Flight 7500: One Way Back with a cast consisting of characters from TV shows and the other is the action-movie Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage. She plays a pilot. She is the face of the new show on TV, Matador along alongside Gabriel Luna. It is a 13-episode season however, this Robert Rodriguez directed thriller where actors are CIA agents was created for a limited duration. The actress continues by presenting the first episode of an additional television show. In 2015, she shared posters for the B Series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments along with Brian Krause. Later that year, she starred on Witness for Rent wearing Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kaoco. Also, she is part of the large-scale distribution of Terrence Malick's experimental Knight of Cups. She appears in 5 seasons of Satisfaction.
