Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor, director producer and vocalist. An attractive and intelligent actor, she is an inspiration for numerous Asian actors who wish to become famous in Hollywood. Her initial success was enhanced through her participation in a few popular show. In those shows, she played the evil Ling Woo. Following her fame, she got important roles for her in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). Her performance was outstanding as Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In addition, she played lead parts in box office flops such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Following that, she began to play characters that were prominent in animation films, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia as well as other smaller-screen roles failed to bring her much success. Southland was a highly acclaimed police show in which Liu appeared regularly played a part that allowed her to be a renowned actor. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she isn't a victim of stereotypes. Although she's embraced her heritage, she hasn't allowed it to limit her as an artist.
